Food: Saturday night will be a pot luck supper, meat will be supplied. Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert.
Bring your own horse feed. Pens will be available on first come first served basis.
Please let Theresa/Don know by NOON on Monday, August 10 if you are attending so the correct number of cattle for the size of the roping can be arranged.
Directions to Millar’s:
From Swift Current - when you get to Parkbeg, Sask. on the Trans Canada HWY turn off will be approximately 9 Kms East of Parkbeg. Turn South on Range Road 3020. (there are 3 signs marking the road - Courval 42 kms, RG Rd 3020 and Grid 627) Go South for 10.5 kms. Driveway will be on your left hand side (East) with a Canadian flag as a marker.
From Moose Jaw - When you get to Mortlach on the Trans Canada HWY continue West for another 5.5 kms then turn south on Range Rd 3020 as shown above.
Note: to qualify for the 2025 CRRA Finals in September you will need to participate in 4 ropings in the season – this requirement is for both OPEN and NOVICE as per the 2024 AGM October 19, 2024. If you have questions please email canadianranchroping@gmail.com
Please make sure you have renewed or purchased a 2026 SHF Individual Membership (or provincial equivalent) PRIOR to attending your first roping in 2026. This is a requirement for our insurance and you cannot rope without it.
If this is your first roping of the new season you will need to purchase a 2026 CRRA membership either at the roping or before you arrive if you did not rope at the October 25 - 26th 2025 roping. Please remember to renew your SHF Individual membership (or provincial equivalent. Go to www.saskhorse.ca
If you are new to the CRRA, you will need to purchase a 2026 CRRA membership, sign the insurance waiver for 2026 and purchase a 2026 SHF Individual membership (or provincial equivalent) if you do not have one already. Go to www.saskhorse.ca
A helmet waiver is required for minors under 16 years of age.
Single CRRA membership is $35.
A CRRA family membership is $35 each for the first 2 adults plus $5 for each roper under 18 years. A family with 2 adults and a minor would be $75.
Please NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS listed on the 2026 CRRA membership form and participating in a CRRA sanctioned event must read and sign the form and complete an insurance waiver.
